This is my 2nd year major project, which I've been working on for about 5 months- seems like forever eh?
'Tis just a cute little story about a squirrel.... thing.
It's all animated traditionally with pencil, paper and a good old fashioned lightbox. The backgrounds are made in flash.. and if you look closely enough, you might just see bits of my flesh and eyeballs embedded into the animation.
If you have the time, pleeeease vote for me on youtube! Because I like attention xD

Music is from sounddogs.com- They have a special licensing system that allows me to use their music for projects, and I am in the process of paying the fee to be able to use it in festivals as well
HOW WAS IT MADE?: It's a bit confusing... This was animated TRADITIONALLY, as in roughly with pencil and paper. It was then cleaned up with a steady line and scanned into a special program called Animo that we use at college. Then I went over every single frame (about 1000?), making them transparent and cleaning up bits of dirt and whatever.
Then I went over the frames and coloured then with a bucket tool thing... Then stuck all the frames into "Director", and put all the frames in the corrent timing and order. (This took at least a week on it's own..)
For post-production, I had to do some AfterEffects stuff like the shine effect and some overlays which were hard to do in Director.
The backgrounds were all drawn by hand then traced over and coloured in flash.
I wrote the story, did the storyboarding etc as well...
The help I got was mostly moral, as I kept bugging my tutors on if the animation looked ok xD Ceri and Ryan cleaned up and coloured in animo about 20 of the scenes for me. (There's almost 40 in total)
Sooo, yeah, this took forever and is my first and last traditionally animated short
